The 30th Opération Enfant Soleil Telethon
The Opération Enfant Soleil Telethon is the organization's most important fundraising activity.
The 30th Opération Enfant Soleil Telethon will be held on June 4, 2017, at the ExpoCité Centre de Foires in Québec, live on TVA starting at 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Over 2,000 volunteers, artists and stage technicians and over 1,100 partners take part in organizing this event. Donations from the public are collected through the support of 60 call centres throughout the province and via Opération Enfant Soleil's website.
The Telethon is an emotion-filled event where children are the stars of the show, both on and off camera. A VIP lounge designed especially for Enfant Soleil children and their families is often the stage for magical moments: the children get to meet the artists and are sometimes even treated to a private concert!
To the great delight of sick children and their families, the 29th Telethon concluded with a total amount of
$18 620 721. Click here to view the event's press release.
